Board Meeting Friends of the First Company Governor’s Horse Guards, Inc

Those in attendance: Richard Bellievau, Gary Brooks, Bill Cowell, Ken Nelson, Bob Mazzara, Steve Meltzer, Richard Morgenstern, James Murdock,

The meeting was called to order at 18:00 hrs. by Richard Bellievau

Minutes: A motion on was made by Gary Brooks and 2^nd by Ken Nelson to accept the minutes of the 10 January 2006 as presented. It was voted on and passed.

Officers/Directors: Directors Andrew Arsenault, Steve Meltzer and Harvey Silverman and Members at Large Robert Mazzaro and Eric Kaneko for personal or business reasons will not be able to fulfill their responsibilities and had to resign from the board. Richard Morgenstern and James Murdock were nominated to replace the resigning members and voted in to replace them. The board will be looking for an additional members to be voted on at the next meeting.

501-c-3 application: Ken Nelson is still working to get the application for the 501-c-3 completed and has committed to completing by the end of January. The by-laws of the organization were reviewed and a motion was made by Ken Nelson and 2^nd by Gary Brooks to accept. It was voted on and passed.

WEB Page: Bree Berner is working a WEB page for the organization and the status was unknown at the time of the meeting.

Fundraisers: Will need to get budget information for the Horse Show and Golf Tournament to be held this year. Richard Morgenstern to provide golf information.

Checking Account: Ken Nelson to open.

Next meeting. Will be held on Tuesday January 24. 2006 in Avon, Ct at 6:00 PM.
