The Friends of the First Company Horse Guard held a board
meeting on 03 March 2008 to review financial reports, appointment of honorary
directors, directors insurance and other new business that may come before the
board.

Motion made by
Financial Review: - Ken Nelson reviewed the
financial report with the board (see attached report) and the report was
accepted. Currently have $57,825.74 in assets as of 31 December 2008. Of these
assets 501-c golf tournament fundraiser has raised $26,000.
Golf Committee – Members discussed
their individual efforts for the 2008 Golf Tournament. Also discussed other
possible fund raising efforts. Grant writing, Foundation for giving, meeting
with guest speakers (John Rowland) and donations from various organizations.
New board members and honary members – A letter of invitation and explanation of
responsibilities will be send out to potential
candidates be honorary members of the board of the Friends. Robert
Mazzara has accepted a position on the board to replaced Everett Kandarian.
